I thought this evening I'd post a painting and a work in progress of it for those interested to see a little of the process involved in creating an oil painting, or I should say, my way of creating an oil painting! I'm really not sure - is it possible to have a more appealing expression than this little dog has? I don't think so! I hope you enjoy the painting!

Following on from my previous post here is another photograph from Crufts where I presented the Kennel Club Arts Foundation with a portrait of Crufts Best In Show 2016, the West Highland White Terrier, Champion Burneze Geordie Girl (Devon). 

In the photo are Tom Mather, the Chairman of the Kennel Club Arts Foundation, Marie Burns with the lovely Devon, my painting and me.

Painting Presentation at Crufts 9 March 2016

Last year I was delighted to be approached by the Kennel Club Arts Foundation and asked if I would paint the 2016 Crufts Best In Show winner, the lovely Devon - Ch Burneze Geordie Girl. Last Thursday I went to Crufts to take part in the presentation of the painting to Devon's owner, Marie Burns. Here are some photos from the show and of course of the portrait. I hope you like them!
